How to Act as Foreigner in Thailand
Submitted by Maximus on 2009-03-09 05:25:15 (via www.asia-discovery.com)
The hot dry season from March till May can see daytime temperatures in the mid to high 30s and the rainy season from May to October has daytime temperatures in the low 30s with night-time temperatures in the mid to high 20s. Rain showers occur mainly late in the afternoon or early in the evening.

If you want to have fun in the sun
or interested in sea sand sun life style,
from March to early June is the best part of the year to visit Southern of Thailand.

For more info about Thailand you could check us at http://www.tourismthailand.org/

PS.1 Thailand is safe as it could be. ^^

PS.2 Tom Yum Kung is a soup originating from Thailand.
It is perhaps one of the most famous dishes in Thai cuisine. It is widely served in neighboring countries such as Malaysia, Singapore, and Indonesia, and has been popularized around the world.

PS.3 From my POV the best place for shopping is Jatujak,
one of the world's most biggest weekend market in Bangkok.

You can find all stuff there, from Buddha image to secondhand shoes, from handmade souvenir to silver bracelet.

Hope this could be some information. ^^
