we have different cultures in south africa so there is different types of foods with reference to tradition. Im from Johannseburg, most people from around there will reccomend 'mala le mogodu' that a delecious traditional preparetion of cow;goat or sheep intestine. You can have that with samp or pap and you can get that dish anywhere in the country.
Theres more that I most probably havent had due to the vast variety of cultures in South Africa. |

Great place Cape Town, but to get the best out of it, go on the Paarl wine route. Cape Town is wine country--we have the best in the world!! Game reserves? Not many, but Nature Reserves, - plenty!! |

Well, I've been here for many years. South Africa has the most beautiful countryside ever seen. Traditional food depends on culture. Wors and pap is nice, but very staple [like rice I suppose], but the traditional 'braai' [barbaque] is the best!!Nature reserves and game ranges are the best. Wild life is really nice, in the oceans, the bush and the sky.
The only bad part of South Africa is the politics and the crime---both of which are unnescesary and can be controlled. It is not in the ANC government's interest to do this.--Gary Kent. |

I concur with all the tips the Travel Tip Centre gives about travelling in South Africa. Sometimes people get paranoid but knowing the basic do's and dont's could help people wanting to visit SA. You can't be too tense and scared cos you won't enjoy the country.Know what to do at a given time and you should be happy.
Travelling in South Africa can be very difficult at times |
