Don't just stick to the main Travel routes if you want to see more of

There is much more to see than geysers, bungy jumping and mountains. Take a day or so out of your schedule and hire a car. Then start to explore the real NZ country and coastal roads around the region. If you're lucky you will find not just quaint colonial churches and lighthouses but also penguins, seals and warm friendly locals.

Thanks. NZ has so much more than what is promoted in the guidebooks. I hope you can visit these special places sometime. I'll keep blogging about them.
