Wow, that covers pretty much everything there is to know when intending to travel to Kenya! As a Kenyan resident I would like to comment that before booking any trip, please consider the more niche and bouquet lodges, resorts etc. This, as there is quite a mass tourism industry active here and as you're gonna spend some money on getting here (and travelling around) ensure to get max value for your money! Some ideas to get you browsing:
1) Finch Hattons - Tsavo
2) Pinewood Village - Diani/Mombasa
3) Malu - Rift valley
4) Kiangazi - Naivasha

And before tipping anyone, just get some 100 shillings notes -one of those make pretty much everyone happy and cost you around 1 Euro each.

Enjoy Kenya!
