It depends from where do you come from? If you used to New York well the Rome is terrible.We don't have in Rome a great subway system (just 2 lines). Probably the best thing for you is to buy an "hopoff and hopon" ticket and enjoy the city like this, This is what I would do if I was a tourist in Rome. If you are getting a taxi from the airports, they have a fix price of 40,00 Euros if your hotel is in the city walls and the luggage is free so if they ask for more require a receipt with the name of the taxi and call a police man. Have fun! |

I'm not sure but I think its not more than 14,00 Euros per person and its a ticket for a double deck bus that have different iteneraries in Rome and you are able to jump off and on all the times you want. |

Try at restaurant "I Pontefici" its in Via Gregorio VII 57. Its a family restaurant very simple but with great food, his mom is in the kitchen and her two sons are the waiters.
For pizza try "Gusto" located in Piazza Augusto Imperatore.
