An important percentage of Greece's income comes from tourism. According to a survey conducted in China in 2005, Greece was voted as the Chinese people's number one choice as a tourist destination, and 6,088,287 tourists visited only the city of Athens, the capital city.

Dear friend I like the night life and in Athens I am mostly out in the streets till 3-4 o' clock in the morning. I never met the violence you mention. In fact Athens is a city with a low rate of criminality. The political riots of last December do not happen every day and even in the extreme case you gonna fall in one nobody will harm you, since usually the problem is between the police forces and the protestants!
