i have been in cyprus for 5 months...well to be honest i was not impressed.Night life is superb but other than that there is not much to be seen.I mean ,there are much more interesting places to visit in Europe.I suggest spain or Portugal.Cyrpus is ok for partying and getting boozed off but really is nothing special.History of Cyprus is another topic. For those who don't know this island is divided after 74s invasion of the turks. So north part of Cyprus is under the occupation of the turks.anyway...is a good place to visit to broaden your horrisons about cypriot culture ..but really NOTHING SPECIAL. |

Ok i have lived in Cyprus for 8 years, Yes there is plenty of night life whether it be paphos, Limassol, Larnaca, Nicosia or Agia Napa. But there is plenty of stuff to do during the day! You have site seeing of historical places such as the birth site of Aphrodite, the Teple of Apollo, not forgetting Troodos a plugged volcano!
Then you have plenty of riding places if you like horse back riding, camel farms if you want to be different then you have Quad bike and jeep safaris!
Then for those who like Wine you have all the winearies around the monastries and in the mountains.
So there is quite a variety of things to do for all ages!! |
