Located in Northern Africa between Morocco and Tunisia and bordering the Mediterranean Sea, Algeria fought French rule and reached independence in 1962, and is slowly achieving political stability through democratic elections.

I found a ticket not very expensive for a week in Algiers but the recommendations from my government are very bad. they say don't go alone, don't visit the casbah, don't go without a person from the country...just what i wanted to do :-((. How is the situation really there?

Much of recent Algerian history has been dominated by civil wars and subsequent warlordism. That said, the country is gradually restoring order and will prove an interesting - if difficult - destination.

Sahara, Ténéré, Tassili: the immensity of the desert at your own scale

The Tuareg AZJAR agency, specialized in the Sahara, Ténéré and Tassili deserts, and based in Algeria in Djanet, will make you discover those grand spaces :

by camel rides.
trekking with the luggage carried on camels.
by 4-wheel drive vehicle.
by trekking expeditions.
Several tours are offered, starting from Djanet or Tamanrasset, crossing the south of the Sahara, the Ténéré, or the Tassili N’Ajjer, regions with strange lunar landscapes, added in 1982 to the UNESCO’s list of world heritage.

Azjar Tour: Men from the desert, guides for 3 generations

The agency’s guides, all from the Tassili N’Ajjer and living in Djanet, will share their love of the desert and make you discover the secrets of the Sahara, the Ténéré and the plateaus of the Tassili like no one else could. The agency’s director, El Housseini Ayoub, is the grandson of Machar Jebrine, who accompanied Henri Lhote when he discovered the rock paintings.

Over 15000 rock engravings registered as world heritage by the UNESCO

In Djanet, you are in the middle of the Tassili N’Ajjer National Park, which shelters one of the largest and best preserved open-air natural neolithic museums in the world; it offers an exceptional testimony about life on the Sahara’s confines from 8000 to 1500 B.C.: over 15000 engravings in 8 million hectares (over 19 million acres) !

And what about a honeymoon with a traditional Tuareg wedding ceremony under the Tassili stars ?

You are about to marry or celebrate a wedding anniversary ? What about celebrating the event with a Tuareg ceremony in one of the world’s most beautiful deserts ? Azjar Tour will organize the entire ceremony for you, from preparations to the last song under the Tassili N’Ajjer stars ?
